PM89317: UNABLE TO BUILD AND DEPLOY BLACKBERRY 10 ENVIRONMENT, WHEN DEVELOPING ON A MAC OR LINUX MACHINE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When attempting to build and deploy an application for a
  Blackberry 10 environment on a Mac or Linux machine, the build
  fails with an error saying:
  WLST1040E: blackberry10 build failed: Failed copying web
  resources to native project (blackberry10)
  

Local fix

• Before each Worklight build, perform the following steps:
  1. In the native directory for the Blackberry 10 environment,
  change to the "/apps/<app
  name>/blackberry10/native/www/webresources/default/wlclient/js"
  directory.
  2. Set the permissions of the js directory to include ow write
  true (allow owner to write).

Problem conclusion

• The code has been modified to correct the permissions issue.

  fixpack 5.0.6.0.
