  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An exception is thrown when a C#        *
  *                      class is serialized with a              *
  *                      user-defined type.                      *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The exception, System.NullReferenceException is thrown when
  the application attempts to retrieve a value from the grid.
  This exception only occurs when a C# class is serialized and
  contains a user-defined type.  That is, if the class defines a
  GetObjectData method and the corresponding constructor for
  customizing the serialization for a class, then this issue may
  occur.
  The exception generally occurs when the application has not
  previously inserted a class that is serialized with a
  user-defined type in the current session.
