PM88497: FAILED TO SET "LIMIT REQUEST BODY BUFFER SIZE" LARGER THAN 2GB
Closed as suggestion for future release.
When tried to set the "Limit request body buffer size" value larger than 2 GB causes WebSphere Application Server to throw an error that says the value range should be 1 though 2147483647. Example: 1. Goto Application servers > server_name > Web container transport chains > WCInboundDefault > HTTP inbound channel (HTTP_2) 2. Under: Denial of service protection Check the box for "Limit request body buffer size". 3. Enter a value larger than 2 GB. 4. Click on Apply Results the following error. "The field, Maximum request body buffer size, should be an integer in the range 1 through 2147483647"
APAR PM88497 is being closed SUG because the changes required to make the change include API changes. The changes can't be done without a design change and thus are being considered for a future release. The functionality provided here may more than likely be included in a larger piece of work.
