Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of Websphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 0 Modification 1 and Websphere MQ * * for z/OS Version 7 Release 1 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During the processing of a RECOVER * * CFSTRUCT command, if the structure * * becomes full, the processing will fail * * with message CSQM999E and return code * * 35. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A full CF structure during the processing of a RECOVER CFSTRUCT command will result in the recover command failing. This results in unrecognized return code message CSQM999E being produced with return code 35. This is due to the CF structure full reason code being unhandled within the recover structure processing. This results in the command unexpectantly failing, and message CSQM999E being produced.
Problem conclusion
The recovery processing has been updated to handle the full CF structure case. The command will now produce message CSQE158E in this event with reason code 00C50012. The infocenter will also be updated to include the following documentation for this rc: --------------------Info Center Changes---------------------- Add new page as a child, with links to new page, of page : Coupling Facility codes (X'C5') At location : (V701) WebSphere MQ > z/OS Messages and Codes > Codes (V710) WebSphere MQ > Reference > Messages > Messages and reason codes WebSphere MQ for z/OS codes New Page: 00C50012 Explaination- CF structure processing failed because the CF structure became full during the action. System Action- CF structure processing is terminated. System programmer response- Increase the size of the CF structure. 010Y 100Y CSQERCF1 CSQMMSGP
