Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Lucene searches are timing out as a result of the query limit (1024) being ignored, resulting in an unbound query which could result in thousands of results being identified and returned, taking longer than the 2 minute timeout period.
Problem conclusion
This issue has already been addressed in Rational Requirements Composer releases beginning with 4.0.1. A hotfix has been provided for the 4.0.0.1 release and can be made available for other 4.0.0.x releases by contacting IBM Support.
