    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
File Manager DB2 component displays a pop-up panel when the
user presses attention to interrupt a long-running DB2 query.
The subtask used to communicate with DB2 is placed in a
suspended wait until the user responds to the pop-up panel.
Any DB2 locks held be the subtask are not released until the
user responds to the pop-up panel, this can cause problems for
    other DB2 users (lock conflicts).

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager DB2 component has been changed to correct the
problem. The pop-up panel has been removed - pressing attention
while the File Manager DB2 subtask is running will now terminate
the subtask, and cancel the current File Manager DB2 function.
