  • Along with 180, 30,5, second heartbeats,  two additional
intervals 15 and 90 second are being made available.

*                  non-default heartbeat interval setting for  *
*                  failover detection.                         *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: New heartbeat intervals of              *
*                      semi-aggressive and semi-relaxed were   *
*                      added.                                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
- Semi-aggressive (value: -10): Failovers are typically detected
within 15 seconds.
- Semi-relaxed (value: 10) - Failovers are typically detected
within 90 seconds.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • An interim fix for this problem is available for V8.5.  The fix
is also included in V8.6.0.2.
