APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer has source files with data that includes '0E' and '0F'
characters that don't delimit double-byte data, and therefore
aren't used as SI or SO (shift in or shift out) characters.
When RAA attempts to display the source for these files in a
    browser, an exception occurs.

Local fix

  • Refresh the browser page to view more complete source.
Continual refreshing may toggle between the exception and a
more complete view of the source.

The exception stack information begins with:

    etc.

Problem summary

  • Display of certain binary character values in browser not
handled correctly, causing exception to be thrown.

Problem conclusion

  • Code was changed so that binary characters can be handled
without exception being thrown in browser .
