    ****************************************************************
CICS TG client is sending a IPIC request to CICS to acquire
the IPCONN.CISS is used to establish IPIC connection between
CTG and CICS.Before CICS attaches CISS,the TCPIP connection
is dropped and the client is disconnected. In the trace, a
GETSOCKNAME_FAILURE exception is issued. However CICS still
attaches transaction CISS after it issues this exception. After
CISS is attached, because the client is still disconnected,
CICS issues the GETSOCKNAME_FAILURE exception again during
CISS initialization,it causes CISS to abend with message
    DFHWB0002 severe error x'060C'.

    Additional keywords: msgDFHWB0002.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS is changed so that before it attaches CISS, it checks the
TCPIP connection to the client,if the connection is gone and
the client is disconnected, CICS will not attach CISS.
