PM86656: DWA: interop in light server mode throws error when opening modules

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If you start an interop server with the -lightServer switch, you
  will receive an error when you open modules in DOORS Web Access
  that says 'CACHE_NOT_INITIALISED'
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• There is a GetDocument call that should be flagged as a
  HEAVYWEIGHT operation, and so get diverted away from the
  lightweight Interop, but which was incorrectly defaulting to the
   LIGHTWEIGHT value.  This meant that is was being received by
  the lightweight interop, which was not loading module data that
  the GetDocument call should have, and causing the error of an
  empty cache when the system was assuming it would have loaded
  the data.
  

Problem conclusion

• The GetDocument call was corrected to use the HEAVYWEIGHT flag
  instead of defaulting to LIGHWEIGHT.
  

Temporary fix

• Simplest workaround is to just not run using the lightweight
  option.
  

Comments

• This happens in versions of DOORS prior to DOORS 9.5.1.2
