Error description
Issue: When accessing a query through a bookmark while within an active session, the query sort method preference of the user is not maintained and always defaults to sort by page. If the user is logged out of the session and accesses the bookmark, the sort method is applied (entire result set). Steps to reproduce: - log into RATLC where local account is mastered (mine was Lexington 1) and set the result set sort method to Entire Result Set. - find a query that produces multiple pages of results. (I used Public Queries -> ClearTeam -> ClearQuest -> ALLClearQuest. there is no display fields so i copied this into personal queries and added the ID to display). - create a bookmark to this query with right click->bookmark. - clicking this bookmark will open the query in a new tab (firefox, IE will give a link in favorites), and the sort method of the user preferences will not be applied. same will occur if opening a new tab and accessing the bookmark while cq session is still active. - log out of the current session and close all browser windows. to be certain session is closed, access the RATLC site again to ensure it asks for credentials, but do not log in. then try the bookmark. you should be asked to authenticate, but will then see the correct sort method applied (entire result set) to the query based on the user preferences.

Problem conclusion
After analysis of this APAR we have determined we won't fix this issue due to it's low priority/severity. A priority decision has been made that this defect cannot be addressed in the next 18 months without neglecting issues of higher importance and less risk. Thank you for your understanding.
