    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    1. File Manager DB2 component export function requires a DB2
object as the source, it is therefore not currently possible to
export data from a user-specified SQL SELECT statement without
    first creating a view.
    2. An invalid field is specified for the cursor position.

Comments

  • 1. Enhancement Apar. File Manager DB2 component has been
    changed to:
    a. Provide a batch option for the editor EXPORT primary
    command.
    b. Provide two new keywords (SQLDD and SQLRECSZ) for the batch
FM/DB2 export function (DBX). SQLDD can be used instead of the
current batch keywords that identify a DB2 object. SQLRECSZ
can be used to specify the input columns that contain a user-
    specified SQL SELECT statement.
    2. File Manager DB2 component has been changed to correct the
    problem.
