Error description

  • When a MERVA program requests a SNAP dump under CICS, not only
the requested MERVA buffer but also many CICS areas are written
to the CICS dump data set. This complicates finding the MERVA
buffer in the dump and is not intended for a SNAP dump.

When a MERVA program requests a SNAP dump under CICS not only
the requested MERVA buffer but also many CICS areas are written
to the CICS dump data set. This complicates finding the MERVA
buffer in the dump and is not intended for a SNAP dump.
This problem has been solved by specifying the dedicated
buffer in the SEGMENTLIST option when taking a CICS dump.
