PM83898: Selecting a different Element with unsaved data in a Time Grid locks the browser

Rational Focal Point Fix Pack 3 (6.5.2.3) for 6.5.2

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If enter data in a Time Grid, fail to save the data, and then
  select a different element from the Tree, the browser locks up.
  
  The only solution is to close the browser and restart.
  
  Able to see this only on Firefox, latest build, works fine on IE
  and Chrome.

  Using Firefox, switching to a different element when editing
  a Time Grid attribute locks up the browser whereas with IE
  and Chrome a Pop-Up message is displayed stating that there
  are unsaved changes with options to click Ok or Cancel.
  

Problem conclusion

• This issue has been addressed in RFP 6.5.2.3.
