APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Protection exception during opt(2) compile in loadRef routine.
  The 0C4 leads job ending with U4083.
  
  Additional Symptoms:
  IBM1936I S
  Invocation of compiler backend ended abnormally.
  

Local fix

• Use STO(00) in CEEOPTS DD during Compile.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the LE STORAGE option is forced to   *

  *                      will this drasctically increase the     *
  *                      compile time,but it could also lead to  *
  *                      a protection exception in the compiler  *

Problem conclusion

• This setting for the STO option revealed abug in the BE, and
  that bug has now been fixed. It is now safe, but not recommended
  to use such a value for this option
