APAR status

  • Closed as documentation error.

Error description

  • DMH5219E message is received when trying to access RAA from a
web browser, indicating a bad url path in a
request. This can occur when the protection scheme directives
and Exec directives are placed below Service directives in the
IBM HTTP Server configuration file (httpd.conf).

Local fix

  • Moving the protection scheme directives and Exec directives
above any Service directives in httpd.conf and recycling the
IBM HTTP Server will allow the directives to be parsed in the
    appropriate order.

Problem summary

  • RAA documentation didn't specifically mention that exec
directive for HTTP server should be added to Mapping Rules
    section.

Problem conclusion

  • Documentation has been changed as of 6.1.0.4 to specify Exec
directive be added to Mapping Rules section of httpd.conf

Temporary fix
