PM82798: ADD NEW FIELDS TO AN EXISTING TABLE IN A POSTGRESQL DATABASE DOESN'T WORK

Error description

• You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0.0.2 Server installed on a
  Linux RedHat server. You work in distributed mode (Windows
  client connected to the server) and would like to export data
  from SPSS to an existing database table. The database you use is
  PostGreSQL for Linux.
  However, the SAVE TRANSLATE syntax does not work. You will get
  errors as on the example below:
  
  > Error # 6492
  > The ODBC subsystem showed an error that prevents Execution
  SAVE TRANSLATE ODBC application.
  > Executing this command stops.
  > [520] [ODBC PostgreSQL Wire Protocol driver] [PostgreSQL]
  ERROR: syntax error at or near "(" (position 30; scan.l File,
  Line 1001; Routine scanner_yyerror ;).
  
  This issue was reported to IBM SPSS Development for
  investigation.
