PM82777: Logged in as Reader instead of Updater when TempFolder value set to ?SAXT Install Path?\Temp

  Problem Description
  
  in SAXT web.config file, customer added/modified below debug
  settings to generate debug log files.
  
     ?add key='TempFolder' value = 'D:\Program Files
  (x86)\IBM\Rational\System Architect Suite\SAXT\Temp'/?
     ?add key='AppLogging' value = 'true'/?
     ?add key='LogFolder' value = 'D:\Program Files
  (x86)\IBM\Rational\System Architect Suite\SAXT\Temp'/?
     ?add key='Debug' value = 'true'/?
     ?compilation debug='true' strict='false' explicit='true'?
  
     After this when login into SAXT as updater, updater license
  can not be checked out and in SAXT it displays as Reader.
  
     Customer confirmed write permission has already been set on
  all of these folders. NETWORK SERVICE granted Full Permission to
   'D:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Rational\System Architect
  Suite\SAXT\Temp' also.
  
  Customer has changed the temp folder path to 'c:\temp' and
  'd:\temp' and 'c:\windows\temp' then it works.
  
  Expected Results:
  No matter what the value for 'TempFolder' in web.config, when
  seleting to login as Updater, you should be logged in as Updater
  
  Actual Results:
  Logged in as Reader
  
  Inputs: None
  
  Procedure:
  
  1) Under the SAXT folder, edit the web.config file.
  2) Set the following:
  
  ?add key='TempFolder' value = 'C:\Program Files
  (x86)\IBM\Rational\System Architect Suite\SAXT\Temp'/?
     ?add key='AppLogging' value = 'true'/?
     ?add key='LogFolder' value = 'C:\Program Files
  (x86)\IBM\Rational\System Architect Suite\SAXT\Temp'/?
     ?add key='Debug' value = 'true'/?
     ?compilation debug='true' strict='false' explicit='true'?
  
  3) Save and close the file
  4) Start SAXT
  5) Select to login as Updater
  6) Notice you will be logged in as Reader
  
  Repeatable:

  Workarounds:
  
  1. Use a different value for the TempFolder such as D:\temp
  2. After login, and it is logged in as Reader, select Switch to
  Updater to get into Updater Mode

Problem conclusion

• The temp folder cannot be a sub folder of the web site.
  Doing so can cause IIS to raise End_Session events and log
  the user out of SA XT.
  
  The following note has been added to web.config:
  
  ?!-- The TempFolder cannot be a sub-folder of the SA XT
  install folder. Leave this setting blank to use the system
  temp folder--?
    ?add key="TempFolder" value=""/?
