APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The ObjectGridManager.connect() API is expected to throw the
com.ibm.websphere.objectgrid.ConnectException exception. If
a problem occurs while connecting to the given addresses, it
throws different exceptions under different situations.

A fix from V8.5 was back ported to the V7.1.1 service stream so
that runtime exceptions are now wrapped by ConnectException
exceptions.
