Error description
WVE HTTP session rebalancing is terminated abnormally which causes the sessions to not actually be moved. This causes the DWLM controller to send additional session move requests and can cause delays in request/response processing.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Virtual Enterprise * * * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The HTTP session rebalancing * * fails, and causes on demand router * * request or response processing delay. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The on demand routers communicate to ensure that a request is routed with affinity to the same server based, on the dynamic workload management controller session move messages. During each move request communication, the primary on demand router waits for a maximum of 2 seconds to get session statistics from each of the secondary on demand routers. The on demand router waits full 2 seconds if the communication is affected by stress in the system. This behavior causes delays in the on demand router request processing.
Problem conclusion
The session move coordination algorithm was fixed to remove the 2 second delay. This fix will be included in the next available fix pack for WebSphere Virtual Enterprise.
