  • In a model that is set up with fake fact tables (as per the PP
    doc 'IBM Cognos BI ? Improve Performance for Interactive
    Relational Data Access') the fake fact table is not used when it
    should be if the name of the table is lowercase or starts with
    lowecase letters.

  • The Cognos software is behaving as designed. The alphabetically
    first fact table is determined based on the ASCII codes of the t
    able names where all lower case letters go after capital letters
    .
