Error description

  • DFHDSBRM macro needs to be able to INQUIRE and SET
    ABTERM_ALLOWED and ABTERM_NOT_ALLOWED states.
    .
    Additional Symptoms and Keywords:
If you are experiencing DFHDS0002 0204 errors and running with
CA Intertest or Symdump, this may be the resolution. The DS0002
dump shows TRUE program IN67STRU as the current program link
level for the task. CICS trace shows DFHDSBR requests for SET
TASK ABTERM_ALLOWED(ABTERM_NO) that return with an exception
for reason NOT_SUPPORTED. The DSBR SET TASK requests are
issued by CA module IN67AI67. If the DFHDSBR requests worked
correctly, the DFHDS0002 0204 error would not occur. In the
aftermath of the DFHDS0002 0204, tasks may hang in LMQUEUE
suspends, if the failing task owned any locks. The failing
task does not abend, but hangs in a Resumed Early state, while
    still owning its resources.

Comments

  • DFHDSBRM has been changed to allow the setting of
    ABTERM_ALLOWED(ABTERM_NO) and ABTERM_ALLOWED(ABTERM_YES) on a
DFHDSBRM FUNCTION(SET_TASK) call. It has also been changed to
    return the abterm_allowed setting via INQUIRE_TASK. TASK_STATE
is set as follows: a value of 4 means RUNNING_ABTERM_ALLOWED
    and a value of 2 means RUNNING_ABTERM_NOT_ALLOWED.
