  • This message shows up in the HTTP server log when using the
V8.0 plug-in:

WebSphere HTTP Plug-in for z/OS and OS/390 Version 6.0 build
level 8.0.0.05 (cf051241.02) release WAS80.ZNATV date 10/10/12
15:49:56 is starting.

The version number should be 8.0

Regardless of the version running, the plugin bld information
on z/OS will show "Version 6.0" along with the proper build
information.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The plugin code has been updated to remove the "Version 6.0"
information.

APAR PM81444 is currently targeted for inclusion in WebSphere
Application Server Fix Pack 7.0.0.29.
