Error description

  • The message text for J2CA0206W needs to be updated to address
    both connection factory or Data Source connection troubles,
    rather then treat it only as a Data Source problem.
    
    While the text below may change, the error description will be
    updated to something similar to this:
    
    J2CA0206W: A connection error occurred.  To help determine the
    problem, check the network and EIS system for availability. If
    this is message is for a DataSource, you can enable
    multithreaded access detection to diagnose the problem

    Datasource and also J2CA0206W  occurs when errors occurs due
    to availability problems on Database and Message Providers.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Modified the J2CA0206W message to clarify that Multithreaded
    access detection is only available for datasource and also for
    user to check Database and Message Provider for availability.
    
    APAR PM81266 is currently targeted for inclusion in WebSphere
    Application Server Fix Pack 7.0.0.29.
