Error description
The customer created and applied a javascript in a project area. The work item affected by the code, works fine if you try to open from the project area that the javascript was applied. But if you try to open the same work item from another project area, an error message appears. The issue is happening only when the process configuration is not the same on both Project Areas. For instance: - Work Item A belongs to Project Area A which is based on Process Template A - Work Item B belongs to Project Area B which is based on Process Template B The work Item A, when accessed through the link at work item B, is not able to do the field validation as the script is not attached on the Process configured for the Project Area B. These scripts are only attached at the Project A, because the configured processes are different. An Workaround for this issue is manually attach the scripts at the Project Area B.
