column as C (CHAR) rather than P (Packed).

CICS VT incorrectly sets COMP-3 fields mapped to a DB2 DATE
column as type C (character) rather than P (Packed).
The problem arises when changing the DB2 column type
during auto-mapper processing.

  • CICS VT is changed to ensure the VSAM field type is maintained
correctly.
