APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After installing Worklight Server, the server.xml for Liberty,
  or server.xml and context.xml for Tomcat, have long lines and
  alphabetically ordered attributes in elements. Some of the
  original formatting of these files has been lost.
  

Local fix

• Replace specific parts of the file with the corresponding
  sections of the backup file (server.xml.bak or context.xml.bak).

  When the Installation Manager based installer modifies XML files
  (server.xml for Liberty, server.xml and context.xml for Tomcat),
  it reorders the list of attributes in every element and removes
  all redundant whitespace in such an attribute list, leaving all
  attributes in one long line.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code now preserves all formatting details of the XML files.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fixpack 5.0.5.0.
