1.6.1 and older.

A NullPointerException is thrown when attempting to re-import
into the IBM Installation Manager an IBM WebSphere Application
Server v7 that also has a feature pack or stack product such as
IBM WebSphere Extended Deployment Compute Grid or IBM WebSphere
eXtreme Scale installed.  This can occure when using an IBM
Installation Manager version 1.6.1 and older.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This issue has been fixed in the version 1.6.2 of the IBM Instal
lation Manager.  Updating the IBM Installation Manger to version
 1.6.2 or newer will resolve the issue.
