Problem conclusion
The following fix was pulled into WebSphere Application Server from the Apache MyFaces Open Source Community to resolve this problem: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-3531 The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.0.2.
