Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All IBM HourGlass R610 utilizing *
    *                 HourGlass with CICS.                         *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PM74980 causes a S0C1 ABEND in CICS     *
    * module DFHAPIN, on "older" CICS *
    *                      versions like CICS 3.2.                 *
    * However, on other "newer" CICS versions *
    * it causes HGFD not to work correctly, *
    * in spite of a message suggesting *
    *                      successful disablement.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply PTF.                                   *
