• If using an XML Schema contains an XML element with the
  whiteSpace constraint set to "collapse", as in <xs:whiteSpace
  value="collapse"/>, and the contents of the XML tag starts with
  a space and contains special characters, which are inserted in
  the XML with an entity reference such as "&apos;", then the
  following error message may be displayed in the map trace:
  
  Datatype error: Type:InvalidDatatypeValueException, Message:
  Value ??? is not a whitespace collapsed.
