PM79828: WATCHDOG PROCESSES ARE RESTARTING KERNEL PROCESS EVERY 7-8 MINUTES FOLLOWING UNSUCCESFUL PING ATTEMPTS TO THE KERNEL.
Closed as user error.
The watchdogs processes were not able to ping kernels even though they are on the same host. Due to ping not being successful, watchdogs were restarting kernel processes every 7-8 minutes according to the logs. We disabled the watchdog from all 4 kernels from all 4 hosts and kernels were stable. After this, portal JVMS with Port consolidator were showing on VE.
Disable the watchdog process.
This problem went away on its own after the system upgrade. Now we are not able to reproduce it at client's environment or in the lab.
