• The Client daemon terminates when a client application
  terminated unexpectedly.
  The following messages were written to the Client daemon log:

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of CICS Transaction Gateway on Windows platforms.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  An application process is started and sends a message to the
  Client
  daemon. The Client daemon attempts to send a response but the
  client application process was terminated as the response
  was sent, causing the send to fail. There was a small
  timing window that caused the Client daemon to incorrectly
  determine there had been a serious error resulting in an
  unrecoverable state. The Client daemon terminated.

Problem conclusion

• CICS TG has been corrected. The Client daemon will
  not<br/>terminate when a send to the client application fails.
