    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Entries do not evict after the time     *
    *                      specified using the                     *
    *                      ObjectMap.setTimeToLive() method, if    *
    *                      no time-to-live value was set.          *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The internal logic for updating the time-to-live value
    during commit incorrectly uses the old time-to-live
    value instead of using the new value. The error occurs when
    running an update that includes a newly specified time-to-live
    value that was set by calling the ObjectMap.setTimeToLive()
    method. The logic was updated appropriately.
    

Problem conclusion

  • An interim fix is available for this APAR, and it is
    available in V8.5.0.3 and V8.6.0.1.
