  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users of the HourGlass CICS support     *
  *                      feature required the capability to set  *
  *                      the HourGlass date/time for a CICS      *
  *                      region via a batch process, rather than *
  *                      through the HGCC online interactive     *
  *                      transaction process, which is currently *
  *                      supplied by the HourGlass product. This *
  *                      APAR describes an enhancement to the    *
  *                      HourGlass CICS support, the HourGlass   *
  *                      CICS Batch Time Management feature,     *
  *                      which supplies the capability to set    *
  *                      the HourGlass date/time for the CICS    *
  *                      region (the global date/time setting,   *
  *                      analogous to the existing HGCC online   *
  *                      transaction) from a date and/or time    *
  *                      setting previously stored in the        *
  *                      AGGDATE file.                           *

  * FIX DESCRIPTION:     1.  Logic has been added to the AGGCC  *
  *                      program to provide support for the new *
  *                      HourGlass CICS Batch Time Management   *
  *                      feature. Executing under transaction   *
  *                      code HGCB, the enhanced logic in the   *
  *                      AGGCC program processes the AGGDATE    *
  *                      file as a CICS extrapartition Transient*
  *                      Data Queue (TDQ). The AGGDATE file is  *
  *                      read and the contents examined,        *
  *                      searching for validly formatted date   *
  *                      and/or time settings. If valid date/   *
  *                      time settings are found, they are used *
  *                      to reset the HourGlass global date/time*
  *                      settings in the CICS region.           *
  *                                                             *
  *                      2.  The AGGCRD11 and AGGCRD13 members  *
  *                      of the SAGGSAMP library have been up-  *
  *                      dated to include:                      *
  *                      a. A new transaction: HGCB, which is   *
  *                      defined to execute the AGGCC program,  *
  *                      for the Batch Time Management feature. *
  *                      b. A new extrapartition Transient Data *
  *                      Queue: AGGDATE.                        *

  *                      2.  Customize and execute the appro-   *
  *                      priate AGGCRDxx procedure on behalf of *
  *                      all CICS regions in which the HourGlass*
  *                      CICS Batch Time Management feature is  *
  *                      to be implemented.                     *
  *                                                             *
  *                      3.  To complete the implementation,    *
  *                      stop and restart any CICS region(s) in *
  *                      which the HourGlass Batch Time         *
  *                      Management feature is being            *
  *                      implemented.                           *
  *                                                             *
  *                      4.  To use the HourGlass CICS Batch    *
  *                      Time Management feature, the user up-  *
  *                      dates the AGGDATE file to contain the  *
  *                      desired date and/or time setting(s),   *
  *                      and causes the HGCB transaction to be  *
  *                      executed from an appropriate CICS batch*
  *                      process.                               *
