PM79190: Code generator is not able to generate with clause in separate package

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Adding a context clause (e.g. with Ada.TexT_IO; use Ada.Text_IO)
  to the separate file results in this not being roundtripped in.
  
  One would expect a ??Usage?? dependency to be added from the
  operation to the Ada.Text_IO package imported with the standard
  libaries (this is how it works when one adds a context clause in
  the Ada package body).
  
  With clause in separate package is a limitation. Code generator
  is not able to generate with
  clause in separate package. The method exists but it is empty.

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in version 8.0.2. It is now possible to generate a
  "with" clause inside a separate operation, from a usage
  dependency.
