Error description

• During startup, unnecessary remote calls to catalog servers
  were being made from each container for every container in the
  core group as each container joined the core group.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  The unnecessary remote calls result in a greater load on the
  data grid during startup.  This slow container server
  startup
  and might cause startup failures in very
  large topologies.
  

Problem conclusion

• The remote calls were removed.  The calls are now only
  made
  during
  a
  failure
  scenario.
