APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Transaction DSLR retrieves the message used to start DSLR and
determines that its length is invalid. The message is neither a
correct WebSphere MQ trigger message nor a correct MERVA TUCB.
DSLR issues error message DSL6078 only showing the invalid
message length. This is not sufficient to diagnose the error.

    ****************************************************************
Under CICS, when transaction DSLR is started by a message that
is neither a valid WebSphere MQ trigger message nor a valid
MERVA TUCB, information is now available on how DSLR was
started and whether additional data was passed. For example,
did a program start DSLR or was it started from a terminal.
When started, was any data passed to DSLR in addition to the
    starting message.
A SNAP dump with dump ID 60 is written both under CICS and
IMS. The SNAP dump shows the starting message as received by
    DSLR.

Problem conclusion

  • More information is now available for error diagnosis.
