Error description
When performing an IBM Rational ClearCase upgrade from 7.1.2.2 to 7.1.2.7 or later the ClearCase registry is not preserved. Workaround: Backup the ClearCase registry before the upgrade procedure and restore it after the upgrade has completed.
Local fix
Problem summary
The clearcase/rgy folders were not being correctly restored, missing the ACL information on the installation directory.
Problem conclusion
Corrected on upgrades starting 7.1.2.7, the ClearCase Registry will be preserved and restored correctly, preventing this issue. For older affected releases, follow the instructions at :http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21623845 To correct the situation.
