• A CPSM API batch program was running to redefine a CICSPLEX
  when and abend occurred during the removal of BAS association

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Various abends may occur in method      *
  *                      EYU0BMZR (BMZR) or method EYU0BMZ1      *
  *                      (BMZ1) when removing BAS definitions    *
  *                      that have multiple associations to      *
  *                      other BAS definitions (for example,     *
  *                      removing a RESDESC that has links to    *
  *                      multiple RASGNDEFs), if the BAS         *
  *                      environment is large enough to require  *
  *                      creation of two BAS dataspaces.         *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Abends seen include ASRA/S0C4 and       *
  *                      ASRB/S0E0.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be restarted.  Note    *
  *                 that the restarts do not need to occur at    *
  *                 the same time.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  When deleting a BAS definition that has associations, BMZR loads
  the ALET and offset of the first association block, and performs
  cleanup of that association, calling BMZ1 as part of the
  process.  If there are multiple asociations, then the first
  association block will point to the second association block,
  which will point to the third association block, and so forth,
  until coming to the last association block, which will point to
  low values.
  
  When processing a subsequent association block after the first
  association block, BMZR only loads the offset pointer, always
  using the ALET of the first association block.  If a subsequent
  association block is in a different BAS dataspace than the first
  association block, either BMZR or BMZ1 will abend when
  attempting to clean up the second association block
  

Problem conclusion

• BMZR has been updated to always load the ALET and offset when
  processing a subsequent association block.
