Error description

  • Problems with WEBUI job editor view
    .
An ABEND878 may occur in the CONTROLLER with below the line
storage full of IGWSMDE control blocks for members of the
EQQJBLIB. When a TDWC (DWC) user selects the EDIT MAINFRAME JOB
function, a DSPSERV GET is done for each joblib member selected.
If a generic request is entered, a GET ALL is issued for every
member that matches the selection criteria. The GET all creates
IGWSMDE entries for every selected member, and these control
blocks are not freed, leading to an out of storage condition.
    .

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THE PTF FIXING THIS APAR *
    ****************************************************************
This enhancement Apar mainly fixes the following problems got
while performing a search of a zOS job in the TDWC Workload
Designer opened on a zOS engine.
    - Storage ABEND S878 is occurring due to storage areas not
freed after the selection of JCL list is done in TDWC
    - Message EQQA618E is incorrectly issued when a not valid
char (ex. "1") is used as beginning of the member name
      in the TDWS selection field.
    - The maximum data set name qualifier tokens has been
increased for 15 to 21 in order to match the TSO limit.
