Error description

  • With File Manager V11, there is a problem comparing all members
of a PDS using "SELECT *" from the command line using option
3.11 with File Manager under ISPF. After this operation, first
page of 17 members were selected. Next, press PF8 to view the
next screen of PDS members. From the second screen of PDS
members to last screen of members, members on the left side
contained an "S" in the prefix command position, but they were
not yet selected. Press PF3 and <ENTER> and the result for this
Compare is that only the first 17 members are compared, not the
entire 200+ members. This is not a problem with File Manager
V12.

Local fix

  • For each screen of showing "S" but not yet selected members,
user can press <ENTER> to have the members showing selected for
the Compare.
