PM78281: ATTRIBUTE XSI:NIL IS IGNORED IN CERTAIN SDO SCENARIOS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In certain scenarios where the SDO graph contains in-memory
  built elements the xsi:nil attribute is ignored.
  

Local fix

• A workaround is to use for all involved modules and
  libraries the "eager" parsing mode, because the error only
  occurs "lazy mode".

  In scenarios where the Service Data Objects (SDO) graph is
  built in memory there is a possibility that xsi:nil attributes
  are ignored.  This can cause unexpected behaviour such as
  validation errors and other exceptions, for example if the
  datatype doesn't allow empty content.
  

Problem conclusion

• The xsi:nil attribute is now always properly processed for all
  SDO scenarios.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in SCA
  Feature Pack 1.0.1.17. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
