• IMS makes unnecessary INQUIRE SESSNAME calls to VTAM during /DIS
  AFFIN LINK ALL command processing if VTAM Generic Resources is
  active for MSC (MSCVGR=Y) and the MSC sessions are established
  using the generic name.

  Module DFSIDP70
  This module processes /DIS AFFIN LINK command. The code
  has been enhanced to reuse the prior VTAM buffer output
  if the nodename associated with the link, is the same as
  the prior link and not make the call to VTAM if the buffer
  is reused.
  Based on the customer configuration, this change can
  reduce the number of calls made to VTAM and may lead
  to an improvement in the command processing time than
  before the fix.
  
  Module DFSIQ100
  This module processes the QUERY MSLINK command. The code
  has been enhanced to reuse the prior VTAM buffer output
  if the nodename associated with the link, is the same as
  the prior link and not make the call to VTAM if the buffer
  is reused.
  Based on the customer configuration, this change can
  reduce the number of calls made to VTAM and may lead
  to an improvement in the command processing time than
  before the fix.
