Error description

• When loading an application( which has DBCS characters in its
  description field) via batchloader program, EQQYLTOP gets the
   following error

   It seems to be that the batchloader has problems with the DBCS
  content
   of the description field which is as example the follow:
  DESCR(' ￆﾵ.''ﾉA                 ')
  Here is the Hex value of the description field:

  The problem occurs because the DBCS description text itself
  contains  DBCS x'7D'.
  This APAR has been opened to solve this error

  which has DBCS characters in its
  description field via batchloader program and an apostrophe
  is contained in the field, EQQYLTOP gets the
   following error

  STRING.
   PARSE TERMINATED.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem was due to the BCIT program.
  When the BCIT unload an application having an apostrophe
  in its description field, it adds an extra apostrophe
  This in order to preserve the original apostrophe
  during the Batch Loader upload.
  But this has to be avoided for DBCS strings. In this
  case the apostrophe is a part of the DBCS char.
