Error description

  • Client ATO is using RSA 8.0.4, they has following problems:

    When client create an Integer type extended attribute using UI,
    the
    generated extended attribute's type in topology file will be as
    follows:

    ?core:extendedAttribute uuid='_tVX-MDUlEeKQgYK2xgJMFA'

    name='TESTINTEGER_FROM_UI'?

    - - - - ?core:data xsi:type='xsd:int:Object'

    uuid='_tVYlQDUlEeKQgYK2xgJMFA'?10?/core:data?

    ?/core:extendedAttribute?

    Whereas, when it is generated by using the ?deploy:set /? tag
    it's type
    is set as follows:

    ?core:extendedAttribute uuid='_4swtMDUlEeKi-ds3agwJSQ'

    name='TESTINTEGER_FROM_TAG'?

    - - - - ?core:data xsi:type='xsd:integer'

    uuid='_4swtMTUlEeKi-ds3agwJSQ'?10?/core:data?

    ?/core:extendedAttribute?

    Client contected dev team directly, dev team have identified the
    root
    cause ? solution in the tag

    handler. To correct the behavior, client will need to provide
    the
    testfix.

    The manual work-around is to change the xsi:type of extended
    attribute
    from xsd:integer to xsd:int:Object.

    ****************************************************************
    When an extended attribute of type 'Integer' is created by
    using JET tag, the type was set to incorrect value
    "xsd:integer". It should be set to correct type i.e.
    "xsd:int:Object".

Problem conclusion

  • The JET tag behavior is now adjusted such that when an
    extended attribute of type 'Integer' is created by using
    tag, the type will be set to correct type i.e.
    "xsd:int:Object".
