• CKP214I issued during TEST and COMPARE results from
  inappropriate parameter substitution in SQL statement
  preparation for SQL explain.
  
  Parameters substituted into statement are inappropriate when SQL
  host variables are the target of some scalar SQL functions, such
  as SUBSTRING, or when the host variable does not reside within
  the where clause.
