  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The management concentrator must listen to
    connection.closed and connection.failed notifications emitted
    by the MBeanServer to clean up obsolete or broken JMX
    connections and listeners (from its cache of known or discovered
    MBean URLs). This might be problematic with a large deployment
    where JMX connections might get closed and fail often, leading
    to a large list of obsolete listeners that are kept in the
    cache collection and are traversed during normal
    ManagementConcentrator operations.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Closed and failed JMX connections to MBean servers (catalog
    servers) and associated listeners are not getting cleaned from
    the management concentrator internal cache when a connection is
    closed or fails.

Problem conclusion

  • Handling of "closed" or "failed" connection events was
    required to remove obsolete JMX connections and listeners.
