PM77410: DIALOG SYSTEM ABENDS WITH S0C7 CODE WHEN LEAVING OUT PART OF THE VALID FROM FIELD IN PANEL EQQAMGPP

Error description

• Dialog system abends with  S0C7 code occurs when leaving out
  part of
  the VALID FROM  field in panel EQQAMGPP.
  
  The abend can be recreated as example by the following steps:
  - Enter the dialog system via option 1.4.3 to modify an
  application In panel EQQAMGPP and leave out part of the
  VALID FROM date as follow:
  VALID FROM         ===> 12/11/      Date in the format YY/MM/DD,
  hit enter,  and the abend occurs.
  (If you blank out all it works. You get DATE MISSING, EQQA240
  EQQA240E
  Specify a valid-from date )
  After you go back in again the application is in use (EQQA103E)
  This lock will be released after awhile and you can modify the
  The problem is solid an occurs every time you leave part out

  The abend S0C7 does not occur only if "DD" is missing, but you
  can
  get the same problem also in case "YY" is missing, or also in
  case
  2 of the date values (any 2 ) are missing.

  When setting partially the VALID FROM field (YY/MM/DD) on
  panel EQQAMGPP, an abend S0C7 occurs due to a wrong date
  processing. For example VALID FROM ===> 12/11/
  where DD (day value) is missing.
  A minor problem has also been fixed. A trace message was
  issued in the MLOG when Browsing a view of the plan:
  "EQQZ024I GSVIE new selp".
  

Problem conclusion

• Code and panel EQQAMGPP have been modified to properly
  detect the missing value (year, month, day) in the
  VALID FROM field.
  The trace wrongly left in the base code of TWS 8.5.1
  has been prevented from being always issued to MLOG.
