Error description

  • We have identified a number of defects with auxiliary edit when
used with the FM plugin and also with Auxiliary edit file in
    the ISPF environment.

    Three issues-
    - Unique naming of the auxiliary data set in a 'plugin'
      environment
    - Auxiliaty edit ds should be 'cleaned up' if timeout or loss of
      connection and
    - SMS issues with the DEFINE of the dataset - should not inherit
management class of the original dataset.

Also , ensure values from options modules are used if
    specified.

    1. File Manager is always generating the same auxiliary data set
name when the edit has been initiated from the Eclipse
    interface.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. File Manager will now always generate a different auxiliary
data set name when the edit has been initiated from the Eclipse
    interface.
    2. File Manager will delete the auxiliary data set when the File
Manager session is cancelled or times out.
